Personal, local IoT (no internet), cloud IoT (filtered internet), cameras, guests, and management. Each with specific firewall rules. Default-deny between networks — nothing talks to nothing unless explicitly permitted.
- Dedicated server with virtualisation
Silent enterprise hardware running Proxmox. The automation system, smart recording, DNS filter, and monitoring all run in separate virtual machines. Automatic snapshots to roll back any update in seconds.
- Professional video surveillance (3–4 cameras)
4K cameras with local NAS recording, local AI detection (no cloud), configurable 30-day retention, and privacy masks on zones that capture public areas — compliant with GDPR requirements.
- Local NAS with redundancy
Storage system with two drives in RAID. Even if one drive fails, you lose nothing. Automatic encrypted backup to an external destination (Europe, GDPR).
- Per-device encrypted remote access
Each phone, tablet, or family computer gets its own VPN access key. When someone leaves the household, you can revoke their access individually. No shared passwords.
