Who it's for
You live in an apartment or smaller home. You don't need fifteen cameras or a system with fifty sensors. But you have a clear intuition: what's sold as "smart home" today compromises things you're not willing to compromise — your privacy, your autonomy, and your control over what enters your home.
The Essential is the entry point into my architecture. Deliberately simple, but without compromising any of the principles. The home becomes genuinely yours. Just smaller in scope.
What's included
- Segmented network (3 separate networks)
Your personal network, the smart devices network, and the guests network — all isolated from each other. The cheap Chinese gadget can't talk to your computer. Guests have internet without access to anything else.
- Discreet local server
A small computer, the size of a book, installed in a corner. Runs all automations locally. No cloud, no subscriptions.
- Local video surveillance (1–2 cameras)
Cameras recording directly to a local drive. No cloud, no manufacturer's app phoning home to foreign servers. Smart detection running entirely in your home.
- Encrypted remote access
When you're away, connect to your home via VPN. View cameras, control lights, receive notifications. No intermediaries.
- Traffic filtering
Automatic blocking of telemetry, advertising, and tracking across the whole home. Your TV stops calling home 200 times a day.
- Personalised manual + 30 days of full support
PDF with everything you need to use the system. Free support during the first month.
What's not included (but can be added)
- Blind or heating automation (depends on existing infrastructure)
- More than 2 cameras
- Integration with external alarm systems
- Privacy-first voice control (local speech recognition server)
Each of these can be added for an additional cost, depending on what the home allows. If you need more, the Professional tier may be the right fit.
Optional maintenance plan
Includes controlled updates, external monitoring, unlimited remote support, encrypted configuration backups, and one annual on-site visit. No lock-in — cancel whenever you want, the system keeps working.

The final value depends on the home, existing devices, and the specific automations you want. A detailed quote is delivered after the technical survey (€60, discounted from the final quote if you proceed).
